Carillon Women’s Chorale, Karen Nevins, director, and Chiaroscuro Community Men’s Chorus, Susan Matych-Hager, director, will present a joint Christmas Choral Concert in Holy Rosary Chapel, located on the grounds of the Adrian Dominican Motherhouse, on Wednesday evening, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. A second performance is planned for Saturday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Saline, Saline, Michigan. A freewill offering will be accepted.

The concert, titled Caroling, Caroling, will include works performed by each of the individual choirs including carols and music of the season composed or arranged by musicians from the Renaissance to our modern day. The concert will begin and end with a collaborative performance of well-known and loved carols by both choirs and the audience.

Chiaroscuro, looking forward to celebrating its fifth year singing together, rehearses in Adrian, and was founded in 2013. Chiaroscuro rehearses once a week on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. in Spencer Hall, located across the hall from Dawson Auditorium, at Adrian College in Adrian. Chiaroscuro is an Artist-in-Residence organization at Adrian College.
