The United Way of Monroe/Lenawee Counties is seeking volunteers for the September 6th Day of Action. The Day of Action is a local community service project, sparked by a nationwide program, to spur local groups and individuals to provide hands-on assistance to local non-profit organizations who need a helping hand. Since 2010, the Lenawee community has heeded the Day of Action call to help tackle projects local agencies cannot do on their own.

Projects are scheduled with the following agencies: Habitat for Humanity of Lenawee County (ROCK THE BLOCK), Goodwill Industries, and The Daily Bread. Interested groups and individuals can read project descriptions and register to volunteer at www.unitedwayMLC.org..

*Habitat for Humanity’s ROCK THE BLOCK program is also scheduled for Saturday,
September 7th from 9 AM – 12 PM.
