Chamber committee provide members and their employees the opportunity to network, gain exposure and use their talents to create programs and projects that benefit the community and business sector. Below you will find a complete list of the Chamber committees along with their functions and purpose.

CHAMBER AMBASSADORS - This fun group of Chamber members is responsible for the hospitality and member retention efforts of the Chamber. They do everything from registering and greeting others at Chamber events, to participating in New Member Orientations, coordinating Operation Thank You and planning special events for Chamber members.  Ambassadors meet on the first Friday of each month at 8 AM at the Chamber office. Marty Schoonover serves as the current Ambassador chair.

TOWN AND GOWN COMMITTEE - Bringing together the students at the City's three colleges and universities in order to enrich their time in our community and to make the community more aware of the gifts that the stuents bring are among the goals of the Town & Gown Committee. They are also charged with developing prgrams that integrate students into the life of the community. Mike Masters chairs this group.

WOMEN'S 2010 EXPO - Set for April 17, 2010 this event provides volunteers diverse opportunities for planning, honing their leadership skills, utilizing their creative bent and getting to know community businesses and other women throughout the community. The committee meets on the 2nd Friday of the month (excluding December) at 8 AM at the Chamber. Mary Alice Thompson & Vicky Brooket co-chair the Women's EXPO Committee. 

FUNdraiser COMMITTEE - This energetic group of members plan the annual Chamber FUNdraiser - our premiere fundraising event which features, auctions, great food, lots of fun and more. If you like party planning and getting creative, this may be your committee! Chamber members and others are involved in chairing this February 27, 2010 event.

GOLF COMMITTEE - Planning for our annual golf outing is the goal of this committee with Mark Manders heading up the committee.  This year's 3rd Annual "It's All About the Fun" Golf Tournament will be held on September 10th getting under way with a shotgun start at 11:00am.
