Fomer State Representative Doug Spade (D-Adrian) formally entered the race for State Senate from the 16th District on Monday, October 12th. An enthusiastic crowd welcomed his announcement made at the County Commission Chambers on Monday morning. Spade was well known in Lansing for his strong work ethic and embracing an independent stance that placed the needs and interests of his district first.
