EXACT FARES ARE REQUIRED – THE DRIVERS DO NOT CARRY CHANGE.
 

Fare payment of cash or tickets (which can be purchased at Adrian City Hall, the Dial-A-Ride dispatch Center at 401 S. Tecumseh St. or from the bus driver). One book of twenty tickets is $20.00. 

Dial-A-Ride is the public transportation in Adrian that will pick you up at
your front door and take you anywhere you want to go within city limits.  Anyone, any age, and able to travel, can use Dial-A-Ride.  Call 265-6611 and tell the dispatcher where to be picked up and where you want to go. The Dispatcher will send a bus to pick you up. Please allow 30 – 45 minutes (varies) for the bus to arrive. You may make several stops before arriving at your destination, so plan for a slightly longer ride on the bus than you would expect in a car.  If you have a medical appointment, call an hour before the appointment and let the dispatcher know that you have one.  Also, let the dispatcher know if you need a bus with a wheel chair lift.

A “Standing Order” for services at the same time each day can also be booked with only one call to the Dial-A-Ride office.  Please cancel ride if you are not going to need the service.

Passengers are responsible for carrying their own packages from store to bus and from bus to home.  You can carry on as many bags as you can carry boarding the vehicle only one time. 

For your safety, consider traveling with a personal assistant or friend if you require extra assistance in using transportation services.  Service animals are permitted to board the vehicles.

Buses are busy during schools hours and the first week of the new month.

FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF ALL, SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED ON BOARD THE DIAL-A-RIDE VEHICLES.
